Don't know where the Naminara Republic name comes from, but it has another popular name: Nami Island. An island where the famous korean drama-Winter Sonata taken place. Nami Island has a very romantic atmosphere. Beautiful place. Its a best way to enjoy this island by riding couple bike, which cost 6000 won for 30 min. Wanna single ride? its only 3000 won for 30 min.
I can imagine how perfectly stunning this place in the winter season.

1. NAMI ISLAND
Get to Nami Island only 5 minutes by ferry! Afterall, this was my favorite place to visit and spent a half day, I wished. Unlucky at that day was a short visit. About 2.5 hours, what could I get. Anyway, I suggest you visit Nami Island from the morning till noon. Any season is fine. Imagine the environment in the evening, when the sky is getting dark gives me a creep.
2. COSMETIC SHOP
We were guided to a cosmetic shop which is one of compulsory places to visit, such a tourism programm from South Korea Government. There were some famous cosmetic brand. But hold yourself please, ladies.. Don't get too crazy spending your money here before I tell you this. There were some products that sold with higher price than other store. If you want to buy nail polish, hand cream and kind of lotions, you better not buy here. Others kind of products like powder, mask, face cream, eyes oinment, face make up are fine.
3. GINGSENG FACTORY
Not much to see here, but gingseng. Gingseng is very famous in Korea. Its healthy, warming, the taste quite good and it commonly used as ingredients for cook. Six is the best age of gingseng to be consumed. All the gingseng product that sold here was six yo. Because its typicaly healthy, it is in a typical good price.
4. GALA DINNER AT K-TURTLE RESTO
K-Turtle served shabu-shabu like. Its a company event held here, inviting some representatives from our sister company, TNS Korea. We all got a fun and great dinner time. Can't tell you the detail of the event, but it awesomely closing our night.
